Frequently asked questions
Does the clock need a power adapter?
Yes. The clock keeps the correct time even when unplugged, but it requires the 12 V power adapter to show the time and light up the LEDs.
Does the clock show the exact time?
Yes.
The words show the time in five-minute steps, and the four corner dots display the extra minutes.
Example:
If the time is 10:14, the clock will show:
- “TEN PAST TEN” (because 10:10 is the nearest five-minute mark)
- + 4 dots (for the extra four minutes)
So together that represents 10:14.
How do i adjust the time for summer or wintertime?
Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.
Can I return the clock?
Yes. You can return the clock within 30 days.
Returns must be sent back in the original packaging and in unused condition.

All Lumos Wordclocks come with a 1-year warranty.

The warranty covers all technical defects, but not damage caused by improper use.
