Four small dots indicate 1, 2, 3 or 4 extra minutes beyond the word phrase. Precise to the minute.

1Brightness
Adjusts the brightness of the display, from a soft ambient glow to bright and clear.
2LED colour tone
Cycles through the LED colour tones so you can match the clock to the mood of your room.
3Mode selector
Switches between brightness mode and time-setting mode, so buttons 1 and 2 adjust either the light or the time.
4Auto-brightness
Enables or disables automatic brightness adjustment. When on, the clock reads the room and dims itself softly at night.

Yes. The clock keeps the correct time even when unplugged, but it requires the 12V power adapter to show the time and light up the LEDs.
Can it hang on a wall or stand on a table?
Every LumosClock includes a flush wall mount. A solid table stand is available as an option above. The power cable exits from the bottom and is available in white or black.
Does the clock show the exact time?
Yes. The words show the time in five-minute steps, and the four dots display the extra minutes. Example: at 10:14, the clock shows "TEN PAST TEN" plus 4 dots — together that reads as 10:14.
Does the clock remember the time when it's switched off?
Yes. A small internal battery keeps the time running even when the clock is unplugged. Switch it back on and it shows the exact time again — no resetting required.
Can I return the clock?
Yes. You have 30 days to return it for a full refund, no questions asked. Return shipping is at your cost. Personalised (engraved) clocks are made to order and are excluded from the return policy.
What is the delivery time?
Each clock is built to order. Production takes 8 working days, after which tracked European delivery typically arrives in 2–5 working days depending on your country.
How much electricity does the clock use?
Almost none. The LEDs use less electricity than a night light — around €3 per year — and the brightness sensor dims the display automatically when the room goes dark.
Is the warranty valid in my country?
Yes. Every LumosClock carries a 2-year warranty across Europe and the UK, with direct after-care from our workshop in the Netherlands.
